          For my design, it's the type of knife that even non-knife people will enjoy. I run Carmel Cutlery and often times I am asked for a knife similar to this kind of design. Slim, sleek, simple, not terribly expensive and appeals to a large audience. I enjoy simple designs, pocket knives tend to get a little out of control on the "cool factor," so I dialed it back a bit and made something simple but also identifiable. Ray Laconico is a huge inspiration to my design, he's like my brother, and we work well together. Over time my design language became a blend of Ray's earlier models and the type of knives I enjoy carrying.
